C.SARAVANAN was born in the year 1986 to Mr.K.Chinnasamy and Mrs.C.Muthulakshmi, who were then actively engaged in agriculture and textile power loom business.
He had the opportunity to learn the family businesses along with his parent’s right from his childhood. He grew up in the poultry farms where his parents spend most of their time and he had naturally a liking towards animals and birds.
He completed his early schoolings near palladam and higher schooling from Chennai and later on joined PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore to learn Mechanical Engineering. Upon completion of his engineering program, he went to University of Toledo, Ohio, USA to pursue his Master in Business Administration specializing in Operations and Finance.
After completing his education, he interned in a Californian poultry company to learn about the modern poultry technology and practices before returning back to join the family businesses.
At present he is the active member looking after the groups businesses along with his parents who are his full time mentors. The company’s annual turnover for March 2019 is expected to cross INR 100 Crores. The company is employing about 500 unskilled labour and 200 technical people directly and employs 2000 people indirectly through contract farming. Apart from the poultry business, he is also looking at the families other businesses along with his parents.
He is married to Sindhu Baarathi in the year 2013 and now they have 2 daughters. His leisure activities are Horse riding, playing cricket and basketball, travelling, reading books and watching movies.
